FAQ's

Does it cost to go to Astrofest?
Astrofest is free. It's a fun, family friendly event for all ages. 


Do I have to pre-register to attend Astrofest?
Pre-registration is optional - it helps us plan an awesome Astrofest, gets you event updates and reminders, and puts you in the draw for some fantastic prizes.  Pre-registration coming soon...

Is there food at Astrofest?
Yes, there are food options available at Astrofest. Closer to the event time, we'll publish a list of food vendors.

Can I bring my dog to Astrofest?
It's not recommended for visitors to bring pets to Astrofest. Pet dogs are allowed on the oval at Astrofest but must be kept on a leash at all times. Pet dogs are not be permitted inside any of the buildings. 

Service animals are permitted at Astrofest. 

Is parking free at Astrofest?

Yes, parking is free on the weekends at Curtin University. See the map below for the best places to park, however please note the road closures (marked in red) as they may impact access to parking depending on the direction you arrive from.
