Inspirational inventions unveiled at Scitech

WA Young Innovator of the Year Award winners have been announced.eye_future

A way to cut your electricity bills, an environmentally friendly weed-killer, a space-saving garden, a mechanism to dry clothes more quickly, a solar hot water system for caravans and a battery charger that uses renewable energy...all amazing ideas turned into inventions!

The calibre of entries at the recent judging event of the WA Young Innovator of the Year Awards at Scitech was so high that many entries were marketable as working ideas.

The WA Young Innovator of the Year program is designed to encourage future innovators to transform their ideas into usable inventions.

Mentors from Scitech and the business community provided advice to the competition entrants throughout the duration of the competition.

Congratulations to all the budding inventors!
