... Hi, can you please publish the *times* of each of the talks and presentations? I mean, arriving at 5pm with nothing to see and no idea of when things are on seems odd. I missed the main talk last year simply because it didn't seem worth arriving before sunset, and there was no information about the schedule of events. When we did arrive, we lined up for telescopes and realised later a talk was just finishing. We need to know the times please! Thanks! |

... Hi David, We hear you loud and clear. Please refer to the newly added running times in the above tab. Dr John Morgan will be giving his lecture at 6pm (in the Stadium's Stage Area) and the interpretations of the night sky series will run intermittently from 7pm to 9.30pm - but there will be plenty to see and do from 5pm so don't be afraid to mosey down early to catch some action. Please feel free to ask any further questions and thank you so much for your support and involvement. See you at Astrofest 2011 David. Kind regards, Laura Glitsos, Editor. |

... Hi I am coming with my 6 and 9 years old kids. Is there gonna be any food during that time (for purchase)? |
... Good morning As this is an evening event, we would like to bring along a picnic dinner (definitely non-alcoholic). It would be most appreciated if you could please advise if there are any specific allocated spots within the area that you would recommend. Thanks and kind regards Catherine |

... ARe there gonna be food sold there, as due to the time, kids gonna be hungry? |
... Hi Nadia, Yes, the kids (and big kids too) will be hungry so we will have coffee/drink vending and a sausage sizzle. Not fancy but something to munch on between looking at the sky and listening to the lectures. Look forward to seeing you there. Laura, Editor |

... Hi Catherine, Absolutely - feel free to bring down some nibblies and a picnic blanket as there will be lots of space to pull up some grass and have a bite with the kids. Regards, Laura, Editor |

... @Gaelia - Yes, please feel free to bring down picnic basket and you can set up on the surrounds of the oval, not far from the action at all. Regards, Laura, Editor |

... Hi, I was wandering how many people usually come to this event? |
... Hi James 99, Thanks for your enquiry. Over the course of the day we have about 3,500-4000 people attend Astrofest each year. Astrofest 2012 is happening again this year on March 31. Hope to see your there! Laura, Astronomy WA Editor |
