Earth & Beyond modules

The scientific legacy of many talented individuals created the tapestry we recognize today - a description of the heavens told through moments of eureka, serendipity and monotonous trawling of observational data.   Conveying the facts and spirit of this fascinating story as a course of learning is difficult.
Research shows many professional science educators have a nebulous understanding of astronomy concepts. Also the goal of implementing an engaging astronomy learning experience is often hindered by limited classroom material resources and time.

Teaching astronomy can be challenging but through the assistance of the Federal Government’s ASISTM funding program, this material has been made available to you for free. The AstronomyWA committee presents this resource and hopes it will further stimulate the learning of astronomy in your school and all schools throughout Western Australia.
